In case I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!
~ Truman Burbank's catchphrase.
Truman Burbank is the central protagonist in the movie The Truman Show. He is played by Jim Carrey.

Unbeknownst to Truman, his coastal town Seahaven is really a giant movie set, everyone he knows is a paid actor, and his entire life starting from conception has been filmed as a 24/7 reality TV show. Despite propaganda discouraging travel and a deep-seated fear of water, Truman develops a travel bug and eventually discovers the truth of his world. He escapes via a small yacht and nearly drowns when the show's director Christof creates a violent storm. After the storm, Truman discovers a stairway leading out of the Sea Haven set. Christof discourages him from leaving, but Truman repeats his catchphrase before entering the real world.
