Tizoc, otherwise known as Griffon Mask or The Griffon in the Japanese version, is a character from both the Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters series. He started out in Garou: Mark of the Wolves. He replaced Raiden for the The King of Fighters 2003 lineup.
He is voiced by Hikaru Hanada.
History[]
Fatal Fury[]
Tizoc, also known as "The Griffon," is a famous wrestler in Second Southtown who gained favoritism amongst the children audience since his debut. He always donates his winning to an orphanage and fights to inspire others.
Over time, it seemed like no one could beat Tizoc, until a mysterious man appeared and soundly defeated him. Tizoc was devastated by the loss and spent two years searching for the man. By the time of Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Tizoc saw himself as a washed up has-been, and entered the King of Fighters tournament to regain his passion for the ring and to find the man who defeated him.
The King of Fighters[]
During the events of King Of Fighters 2003, Tizoc is an up and coming superstar in professional wrestling and joins the Fatal Fury team after being invited by Terry Bogard. Terry's brother Andy, was unavailable at the time since he was tending to his younger student (Hokutomaru) in Japan. In King of Fighters XI, B. Jenet requests that he join her team, and he accepts. Tizoc enters simply for the "heart" of the fight and is not concerned with winning the prize money.
Personality[]
Tizoc's gimmick in wrestling is his life. He loves to be the hero of poor children and even acts and speaks outside the ring the same way he does when he is fighting.
