Tideus is the Yellow Aquitar Ranger of the Aquitar Rangers. He is also referred to as Yellow Alien Ranger on Earth, as well as Mighty Morphin Alien Yellow Ranger.
He is portayed by Jim Gray.
Biography[]
Mighty Morphin[]
Tideus is a good-humored person who takes his duties as a Ranger extremely seriously. Tideus is physically the strongest of the Aquitians. He was entrusted with the power of the Yellow Battle Borg and the Yellow Shogun. Along the way he's picked up a few foreign words which he uses to taunt villains in battle.
In Space[]
During the invasion of the universe by Dark Specter's United Alliance of Evil, Tideus and the other Aquitian Rangers battled Divatox's army on Gratha, where they were defeated. They were later saved by Zordon's Energy Wave.
Trivia[]
- Tideus is the first male Yellow Ranger, followed by Dustin Brooks, Charlie Thorn and Calvin Maxwell.
- However, it should be noted that most of the female Yellow Rangers' Japanese counterparts (his MMPR Predecessors Trini Kwan, Aisha Campbell, and his later sucessors Maya from Lost Galaxy, Kelsey Winslow from Lightspeed Rescue, Katie Walker from Time Force, and Taylor Earhardt from Wild Force) were male.
- Tideus is the first and only Yellow Ranger to be an alien.
- Tideus is also the first Yellow Ranger to match his Japanese counterpart's gender.
