The Extremes are a quartet of singing buglike aliens who made their appearance in the Jim Henson Hour. The puppets are made of a purple alien, a yellow alien, a greenish-blue alien, and an orange alien all wearing red jackets; singing like african-american singers of the 80's, and have crazed expressions and personality (hence the group, The Extremes). It is unknown if they'll make more appearances with Kermit and the gang since the Disney Company owns the Muppets. Check in other cartoon related media including TV series and movies to see if they still exist and if there are different variants of these in this generation. If you are a resident of Burbank in California or if you use cell phones, ask the employees in the Disney headquarters either by heading in or by using the phone number provided and calling the Disney service to see if they will still use the Extremes for the Muppet series.
