Yes, I think so. Disney has a way of re-portraying public domain or folklore characters in entirely new lights so best to some up classic Cinderella in an entirely new article.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO LOOK AT THIS!!! This video explains why she is not the passive, reactive bimbo everyone, even the other users on this wiki, think she is. Take time and watch it and share it with every user on this wiki, don't add "damsel in distress" to any version of Cinderella ever again.
