I wish I could undo what the corrupted Lotso did to him, and one of those things is that I'll fix that broken heart pendant so Big Baby can feel better.

Considering deletion[]

I'm considering the deletion of Big Baby's hero article. Sure, Big Baby was a villain by proxy and he stood up to Lotso at the end, but a pawn standing up to their villainous master doesn't make them a hero. Him throwing Lotso in the trash was because he'd had enough of his master's cruelty, not necessarily because he wants to join Andy's toys. After Big Baby's redemption he got a better life with the good guys, but he only did one heroic act and nothing else afterwards.

Against deletion[]

Big Baby throwing Lotso in the dump wasn't his only heroic act since he is currently helping make Sunnyside a better place for the toys and his love for Daisy also makes him heroic since he never stopped loving her, not even while he was working for Lotso. Just because he didn't have a bigger role after his redemption doesn't necessarily mean he can't qualify as heroic. Aside from turning on Lotso and helping Andy's toys escape, he is currently making Sunnyside a much happier place for toys. If a villain does any heroic act post redemption, they qualify as heroes. If they do nothing after their redemption, they can't be listed. And Big Baby did indeed act heroic at the end of Toy Story 3 and after the events of the film. He was only ever a villain by proxy due to being manipulated by Lotso so this further degrades his 'villain' status. Anyway, I think of him as a hero and I think deleting this page would be a mistake

You've made your point, Ken and Big Baby have done enough to redeem, but Lotso's other minions like Chunk and Stretch should not be here again as they didn't do anything after redemption.
