Robotboy is the titular main protagonist of the show of the same name. He is the latest creation of the world renowned scientist Professor Moshimo. Due to fears that Robotboy would be stolen by his arch-enemy Dr. Kamikazi and his main henchman Constantine to be used to take over the world, Professor Moshimo entrusts Robotboy to 10-year-old Tommy Turnbull, his biggest fan. While being protected by Tommy and his two friends Lola Mbola and Gus Turner, or "the G-Man" as he calls himself, Robotboy learns how to behave and act as if he were a real boy.
He was voiced by Laurence Bouvard.
Overview[]
Robotboy is a small yet surprisingly powerful robot created by Professor Moshimo with the most advanced fighting capabilities on the planet, and the mind of an 11-year old Japanese exchange student. To keep certain less savory personalities from using him for the wrong purposes, Moshimo sends him to live with Tommy Turnbull, where he learns to become a real boy.
Appearance[]
Robotboy was intended by Professor Moshimo to resemble a real boy. He has a round head with blue 'ears'. Most of his body is white, but his hands and feet are blue. He also has luminous, light blue eyes. His eyes turn red when he changes into his super activation mode.
In deactivation mode he is small and resembles a doll. His ears are folded away so only his round head is mainly visible. His eyes are also closed and they remain light blue.
In super activation mode, he is much taller and has long legs. He has a medium-sized, primarily silver instead of white body. His ears, hands, and feet are dark blue. He has a dark blue mask-like face with a red outlining.

- His appearance seems to resemble a Powerpuff Girl/Rowdyruff Boy.
- There was a popular rumour that Robotboy was voiced by Tara Strong.
- Throughout the whole show, he has Superactivated approximately 90 times.
- He never speaks in his Superactivated form, except in a few French episodes.
- He was told what jealousy means twice (The first time was in "Dog-Ra", and the second time was in "Valentine's Day").
- He is unable to cry, until the events of "Crying Time" and while it is the only episode where he cries he almost cried with joy in the episode "Hair-A-Parent".
- Robotboy acts much more serious in his super activation form. However, in “Science Fair”, he was seen smiling while Superactivated, which he otherwise never does.
- There are 7 episodes where Robotboy does not speak a single word: "War and Pieces", "Constantine Rising", "Kurt's Father", "The Manchurian Robot", "Tummy Trouble", "Mancation", and "Momma's Boy".
- In the French dub, Robotboy can rarely talk whilst Superactivated mode. However, when he is in this form in the English dub, he remains silent. The only episodes does are "Robot Girl" and "Double Tommy".
- He refers to himself in third person in most episodes, though it could be due to his lack of grammar. However, there are some moments where he referred himself in first person, albeit with his lack of grammar.
- Two of Robotboy's favorite TV shows are The Human Fist Show and Mortal Kombot. He also enjoys shows that have robots, whether they be sci-fi ones or other fighting robots, such as the "Robo-Battle" show he and Tommy wanted to watch in "Wrestling With Gus".
- The first words we hear from Robotboy are "Evil, Robotboy destroy!", when he wanted to attack Dog-Ra, being disguised as a little puppy, from the pilot episode. The last words he speaks in the show are "No, get back!", when he tried to stop Robotgirl from being turned into titanium in the factory in "The Return of Robotgirl".
