Meredith Hildegarde, nicknamed Mother Hildegarde, is a major character in french book series The Mirror Visitor/Passe Miroir. She is an architect coming from Arc en Terre, the home of the masters of space and living to Pole.

The Hildegarde mother is rude, unsubtle, courageous and protective; she called herself a mother because she considers herself a mother to those she protects. She can't stand ingratitude and isn't afraid to lie to protect people. Her symbol is the orange.
