Magic Toucan is the minor protagonist in the animated Brazilian movie, The Happy Cricket. In the English dub, he is voiced by Peter Doyle, whose memory the film was dedicated to.

Magic Toucan is a big fat black toucan who has blue eyes, a green belly, gold glasses, an orange beak with a purple tip, and dark blue feet and he was seen in his cocoon and falls into the ground. First, he was being a magic tornado then we turns into himself. He initially holds his feather and he puts it back on his tail. The six kids, named Christopher, Leonardo, Isabella, Cartibella, Snealy, and Honeydew were ready to take his bumpy ride, and he immediately takes his flight to go everywhere to find the Night Star, Linda.
The evil Toads from Wartlord's castle were looking up at Magic Toucan, they began to spit poisonous saliva to attack Magic Toucan, so he feels extremely afraid and passionate, then Cartibella feels apprehensive that she loses his baby boyfriend snail, Snealy, and she fell off of her back, but Snealy couldn't reach Cartibella because he is about to fall to his death, then he pull his tail, and he gets desperate. Christopher immediately gives Snealy his guitar to hold on, then Christopher gives Cartibella back Snealy and she saved his life. He then does make another magic trick, so he turned himself into the teal magical pirate ship.
Later, he tells the six kids about Linda, so he can't fly over where she is, because he should be pricked by one of the dangerous thorns and he loses his magic powers. He uses his wing to hold Cartibella, Snealy, Isabella, and Honeydew safer so they don't get hurt.
