George of the Jungle, also known simply as George, is the heroic titular protagonist of all George of the Jungle media. He is a dimwitted parody of Tarzan, as normally, both feral men wear only loincloths. In the 1967 TV series, he is voiced by Bill Scott. Brendan Fraser portrayed him in the 1997 live-action film, but because he declined to reprise the role in its sequel due to playing D.J. Drake in Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Christopher Showerman did the portrayal instead. Whereas, in the 2007 animated series, Lee Tockar did his voice.
