Eric Feeble is the titular main protagonist of the BBC/Klasky Csupo adult animated TV series Stressed Eric. He is an immensely unlucky and constantly on edge man who has a life full of constant misfortune. He is the father of Claire and Brian Feeble, the ex-wife of Liz and the best friend/patient of Doc.
He was created by Carl Gorham, designed by Arlene Klasky and Gabor Csupo and voiced by Mark Heap in the original dub, while being voiced by Hank Azaria in the US dub.
Personality[]
Eric is man constantly plagued by stress, worry and annoyance thanks to his completely miserable and difficult life. In spite of his troubles though Eric is a geniunely good and kind hearted man who deeply loves his children and tries to make his life as good as possible for their benefit, his efforts always wind up in complete vain however.
Appearance[]
Eric is a short skinny man with a long slender face, a large nose and heavy bags under his eyes. He has short messy red hair and thin black eyebrows and usually wears a tan shirt, a khaki blazer, a brown tie, grey trousers and black shoes. On special occasions Eric usually wears a black tuxedo.
On his forehead Eric also has a large throbbing vein which gets larger and larger the more stressed he becomes.
Overview[]
Eric is a 40 year old divorced man with two children Claire and Brian; the former of which is intelligent but frail and allergic to nearly everything and the latter of whom suffers from pica and constanty puts important and useful things in his mouth. His ex-wife Liz is an eccentric egomaniac who constantly abuses and belittles Eric to which he tries to fire back but usually to no avail. Eric's stress usually gets to such a bad point that the throbbing vein in his forehead will become alive and coil itself around his neck causing Eric to pass out. Eric is man of few friends with his best friend being that of his Doctor simply named Doc a laid back and oblivious man obsessed with sex who on top of prescribing medication and offering medical opinions about his stress to Eric will usually take him out to the local pub for chats or scout around town with Eric in attempts to teach him how to get with ladies, something which always winds up in vain as Eric fails continuously. Eric's worklife is also miserable with both his useless secretary Alison and demanding and cruel boss Paul.Powers (Nicknamed P.P) causing him extreme stress on a daily basis.
