Rescuers are a special kind of heroes and heroines who will brave obstacles so they can rescue others from danger. They are a specific kind of Life Saver who routinely rescues people in a story or series, as opposed to saving lives occasionally here and there.

The following types of rescuers are:

• Life Saver: Those who risk saving other people's lives when in danger.
• Child Saver: Heroes who save children.
• Animal Saver: Those that save animals.
