Big Face is a Mudokon shaman who Abe met after falling off a cliff trying to escape RuptureFarms, serving as a deuteragonist to Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee.

Abe's Oddysee[]
Big Face revived Abe and told him to go to Monsaic Lines, where he would begin a series of trials that would take place in Paramonia and Scrabania. After Abe completed the trials, Big Face rewarded him with two spiritual tattoos that granted him the ability to summon the Mudokon god, Shrykull.
Abe's Exoddus[]
Big Face made a brief appearance during the opening cutscene, in which he is seen honoring Abe during a ceremony to save the enslaved Mudokons of RuptureFarms. During the ceremony, Abe farted, which interrupts the ceremony, creating a long period of awkward silence. To break the silence, Big Face starts laughing, encouraging the audience to join him. He then reassures the embarrassed Abe with a pat on the shoulder, which accidentally causes Abe to lose his balance and fall from the ceremonial platform. Abe was immediately put into a coma by the fall. While Abe is in a coma, he was visited by the Three Weirdos who told him to save Necrum from destruction by the Glukkons.
Other Appearances[]
Big Face is mentioned in the introductory cutscene of Toby's Escape as the one who started the fire that destroyed Rupture Farms (presumably using the storm circle used to save Abe). He otherwise does not appear in Oddworld: Soulstorm, as his role is primarily filled by the Masked Shaman.
Trivia[]
- In the March 2011 edition of Dear Alf, it is stated that Big Face has become a member of the Mudokon resistance against the Glukkons.
- He is one of the few Mudokons with blue skin in the series besides Abe. However, in New 'N' Tasty, his skin was red instead of blue.
- In the web Q&A Dear Alf, when asked what Big Face looked like under the mask, he responded twice by stating that either he was the most attractive Mudokon and had to wear the mask to avoid attention or he looked a lot like his mask, teeth and all.
