Biography[]

Personality[]

Andrew Neyman starts out as a down-to-earth, quiet, and determined student who puts in the time and effort to practice drumming to maintain what's necessary for his choice of career. Before transferring to Terence Fletcher's music hall, he was appointed by Nassau. He maintained a decent friendship or partnership with Ryan Conolly. He seemed likeable in his field.

After being summoned by Fletcher to play with his band, Neyman still retained his charming personality but the consistent variations of abuse inflicted by fletcher along with his own self-esteem draining, Neyman slowly started to lose his sanity at the hands of Fletcher. Fletcher even went as far as to bring Neyman's former bandmate, Ryan Conolly alongside Neyman to compete for playing the drummer for an upcoming concert. It was either possible that Fletcher did this in order to genuinely search for a drummer best fit for the concert or to further mentally torture the already dreaded Neyman. This becomes apparent when Fletcher mercilessly instructs Neyman, Conolly, and even one of his own students, Carl Tanner to play drums and whoever plays them best earns the part. Neyman finally earned the spot due to his lengths of determination. It was apparent that Fletcher was willing to go extreme and sadistic lengths in order to achieve the same if not a greater level of success that he and Neyman are after; becoming the greatest.

Later on, Neyman completely snaps when he found out that Fletcher gave the part to Conolly for no apparent reason other than being slightly late. Neyman blows a fuse at Fletcher after finding this information out, resulting in a heated shouting match between the two. The fight was abruptly interrupted when Fletcher points out that Neyman forgot his drum sticks causing the latter to flee out in a fit of rage whist insulting a smug Conolly, completely ruining their once embedded friendship. After retrieving his sticks, he makes a run to a local bus stop but an accident occurs, thus resulting him renting a vehicle. The determined Neyman receives a call from Tanner who asks Neyman of his whereabouts, to which Neyman lies insisting that he's close to the conservatory. Tanner senses his lies when he hears Neyman driving causing the latter to go in a fit of rage and swearing at Tanner. Seconds later, Neyman crashes into a truck and is severely wounded. The truck driver insists on helping Neyman but Neyman denies before fleeing back to the conservatory. After screwing up on the concert, Fletcher informs Neyman that "he's done". Which finally causes Neyman to snap and assault Fletcher. This attack would be abruptly over when Neyman was escorted by Conolly and security guards.
