Ada Clover is the older sister of Carl Clover and the daughter of Relius Clover. Due to one of her father's experiments, she was turned into the Nox Nyctores, Deus Machina: Nirvana.
Information[]
Ada is Carl's older sister. As a human, she was very kind and nurturing towards her little brother, causing Carl to idolize her. She baked him cookies, offered him games to play, had an amazing sense of humor, and was overall a genuinely kind person, according to Carl. However, two years before the events of Calamity Trigger, her body parts, and most likely her soul, were incorporated into the Nox Nyctores Nirvana by their father Relius.
Currently, she serves as Carl's weapon, partner, and drive ability, acting on his commands and protecting him. Despite her being a mechanical puppet, she has an unusual amount of sentience, acting on her own to protect Carl or attacking a dangerous enemy, such as Hazama. She also can speak to Carl, despite her dialogue consisting of nothing more than ellipses. This causes others to doubt Carl's sanity, even though it has been stated that his glasses allow him to talk to machines, including her.
Appearance[]
As Nirvana, Ada has short light blonde hair and blank eyes, with a crack on her left eye; during the Dark War, she had normal eyes much like Ignis. She wears a purple dress with a white collar, a purple hat with a golden ring, separate sleeves, and longer arms that reach almost to her leg.
When she was human, she had slightly long hair, and wore a navy dress with vertical light blue stripes.
Personality[]
Before becoming a doll, Ada was a good-natured, calm, and cheerful person. She was always very supportive to her younger brother. After becoming a doll, she becomes lifeless, but even then, she shows unusually high sentience. It is said by Carl that she is very sensitive about her looks, and in Carl's arcade, when she and Carl encounter Hazama, she seem to have a grudge and hatred towards him.

- Oddly, when Carl is victim of Amane Nishiki's Astral Heat, Ada does not appear; instead, Nirvana is shown as a plush toy.
